The Hydra regatta coincides with our National holiday on March 25th, which celebrates the start of the Greek Independence revolution. It is the main sailing event which marks the beginning of the racing season.

About the Event
Hydra Race is one of the most well known Saronic Gulf races, usually marks the beginning of the year racing season. The weather is still cold but most sailors are looking forward start racing again after the winter period. The island is also waking up from the winter laziness and waiting for the little port to be crowded by sailing boats.
